Notification of China Customs Order No. 56(2017) Adjustment to China Customs Advance Manifest（CCAM）Regulation

Dear Valued Customer,

To ensure the smooth progress of the national customs clearance integration which is essential to strengthening the administration of the import and export cargo entering and leaving China, improving the integrity and accuracy of the manifest data, and implementing the safe entry and risk prevention, China Customs Authorities has released Order No.56 (2017) which will adjust China Customs Manifest for both import and export. The new order will be effective from the 1st June 2018.
Quay Shipping Australia agents for Sinotrans Container Lines hereby announce the compliance and implementation of this regulation and will follow the below key requirements by the Customs Order No.56 (2017):

1. Enforce a 24 hour China Customs Advance Manifest (CCAM) rule and the Advanced Manifest must be submitted 24 hours prior to loading.
2. The information required on the China import Manifest has been updated and must contain the following key information as follows:
  – Consignor name, address and ABN
  – Consignee name, address, contact details at destination and USCI or OC identifier.
  – If the consignee is “To Order” Notify name, address, contact details and USCI or OC identifier.
  – Cargo description must be accurate and cover all cargo packed, please provide HS code.
  – Container details to include accurate QTY, weight and CBM.
