NZ – VBS Charge Increase

Dear Valued Clients,

We hope this message finds you well.

We would like to inform you that Transport Companies have communicated an upcoming significant increase in the VBS BOOKING FEE and the EMPTY CONTAINER CHAIN FEE, scheduled to take effect from 01 February 2024.

Unfortunately, Sila Global is unable to absorb these escalated charges, and as a result, we have updated our charges accordingly:

  • VBS BOOKING FEE: $125.00 + GST per container.
  • EMPTY CONTAINER CHAIN FEE:
    • $125.00 + GST per container de-hired at POAL.
    • $85.00 + GST per container de-hired at off-port de-hire depots.

Despite these changes, we remain committed to minimising cost increases within the supply chain to the best of our ability, ensuring that we continue to deliver the highest level of service to our valued customers.
